4th Annual Avery Huffman Wood Bat Classic Champions

The 4th Annual Avery Huffman Wood Bat Classic returned to Southern California the weekend of August 14th-August 15th.

Held in 2017, 2018 and 2019, with the pandemic cancelling the 2020 event, the youth baseball tournament, presented by So Cal USSSA Baseball and Avery’s uncle, Jeremy Huffman, crowned champions in seven age brackets, from 8u-14u.

In all, seven gold bracket champions, five silver bracket champions and three bronze bracket champions won, with winning teams earning Pink Louisville Slugger Bats with #AveryStrong inscripted.

One of those bracket champions were the Sandlot, which was coached by Avery’s uncle Jeremy and had her cousin, Bryson, on the team. They won the silver bracket for 11u.
