The Mayor IPA Release

  • Georgetown Brewing 5200 Denver Avenue South Seattle, WA, 98108 United States (map)

Join us on August 22nd, for the 2025 release of The Mayor IPA at Georgetown Brewing.

For the sixth year, all of the proceeds from The Mayor IPA benefit three non-profit organizations, including the Avery Huffman DIPG Foundation (along with our friends at Hilinski’s Hope and the Jordan Morris Foundation, with Georgetown Brewing generously donating ALL proceeds, every dime, to the three foundations.

The fundraising effort is spearheaded by Ian Furness from Sports Radio 93.3 KJR and Kraken Hockey Network and the beer is produced by Georgetown Brewing.

Ian will broadcast live from the Georgetown Brewing taproom in Seattle on Friday, August 22nd from noon until 3:00 and the AHDF board members and supporters will be there from noon until 6 p.m.

The Mayor IPA is an award-winning beer (Washington Beer Awards bronze medal), bright golden and unfiltered with flavors and aromas of fresh-cut oranges, pineapple, lime, and papaya from the Columbus, Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops.

Beyond the taste, The Mayor IPA is really about the organizations it supports and the story of how it came into existence.
