May 17th Proclaimed DIPG Awareness Day In Washington

The Avery Huffman Defeat DIPG Foundation is pleased to announce that May 17th, 2017 has officially been proclaimed "DIPG Awareness Day" in the state of Washington by Governor Jay Inslee.

In partnership with the Michael Mosier Defeat DIPG Foundation and as part of the DIPG Across the Map initiative, Washington joins a handful of other states that have also declared May 17th, 2017 as "DIPG Awareness Day. Avery was born and raised in Washington and we are honored that Washington has proclaimed 5/17 as DIPG Awareness Day.

Thank you to Governor Inslee for joining with other governors and legislators across the country in calling attention to DIPG and sharing with their residents the importance of increasing public awareness of DIPG so that we can continue to fight and #DefeatDIPG.
